Nestled between the red cliffs near De Rust and the Swartberge… yet just 15 minutes (20km) from the bustling town of Oudtshoorn and 15km from de Rust lies this 80ha fully fenced and stocked, unique secluded lodge, one of the most popular destinations in the region.
The lodge is fully functional, with three chalets, each en-suite, uniquely furnished and decorated with it’s own private deck, – all overlook a natural amphitheatre, with the red cliffs on one side, and the Swartberge on the other.
Down in the valley, a short walk from the chalets is a separate building with a magnificent deck with a central fireplace, an interior dining area and a kitchen facility. A one bedroomed fully contained self catering cottage compliments the property. There is an adjoining chalet currently used as management accommodation. The gate house at the entrance of the property contains en suite staff accommodation.
This property has Cango River frontage, mountain stream water, is stocked with game, such as zebra, springbok, kudu, duiker, steenbok and if you’re lucky, porcupine, jackal, aardvark and caracal. The property has an Escom power supply and good internet access.
