The imposing entrance gates have an intercom system and video surveillance and are electronically operated from within the home. For additional peace of mind the entire property is walled or fenced with high voltage perimeter security and electronic beams in the gardens. The house is connected by radio to an armed response company.

A security guard can be contracted to provide additional security for high profile persons at the home or whilst on the beach, if so desired.

Swimming Pool:
The large sparkling salt water swimming pool is heated to ensure optimum enjoyment throughout the year.

Housekeeping:
Overall housekeeping duties are outsourced to a professional Home Management Company. 2 Maids who work full-time for the owners when in residence are available on request. There is a large scullery adjoining the kitchen and a separate laundry on the ground floor. Maids' quarters are provided.

Beach Access:
The home has a wooden boardwalk through the Fynbos to a secure front gate on the beach side, used for access to Solar Beach, which is a mere 90 seconds walk away.

All beds and linen are top quality, with ample replacement sets.

Bedrooms:
There are 4 double bedrooms on-suite with large modern bathrooms. The house is designed to sleep 8, with a maximum of 10 persons if required. The master suite is situated upstairs, whilst the other three suites are on ground level.

Kitchen:
The large gourmet kitchen has open-plan serving to the dining area and the patio overlooking the pool, which also houses the built-in barbecue. The kitchen provides every facility including a large imported oven and refrigerator with ice maker.

Electronic Media:
The Study, which also serves as an audio visual room has satellite TV, telephone and a broadband connection.

Entertainment:
The poolside area offers ideal space for entertaining guests and a bar can be set up under the Lapa. The upstairs area of the home is accessed via the beautiful double volume Entrance Hall, and the extensive flow between the spacious kitchen, dining area, lounge and the two external patios provides exceptional space for entertaining. The North-facing undercover patio is basically an open air extension of the lounge, accessed from the lounge via fully opening doors, and this entire area is ideally suited for evening cocktails.
